About The A Treatment Center:
The A Treatment Center is a private practice of licensed and licensed-eligible mental health professionals who specialize in anxiety, phobias, trauma & chronic pain. Our mission is to help facilitate clients healing in a concierge style availability allowing for maximum results in the healing process. We focus on body, mind & spirit as well as all 5 senses to facilitate rapid (compared to other modalities), deeply rooted results. We are uniquely trained to address the interaction between anxiety, phobias, trauma and chronic pain. Many of our clients are professionals in the entertainment industry, athletes or professionals in their field. Many have tried therapy in the past but are looking for a more wholistic approach.
We are experienced at sorting through the relational and personal behaviors known to complicate grief & trauma. Most importantly, we are skilled in providing our clients with the tools, coping mechanisms, and resources they need to work through their healing of anxiety, phobias, trauma and chronic pain.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintaining a caseload & provide therapy services to individual clients and groups that will build to 15-35 clinical hours per week.
Maintain client clinical notes as required by professional standards, electronic health records & complete clinical documentation within 24 hours and no later than 72 hours of date of service.
Must be a team player
Flexibility in scheduling / Maintain office hours that are conducive to client needs.
Must be punctual & prepared for sessions with clients.
Applicants who have a separate private practice or are a part of another group practice are Not a good fit.
Ideal applicants have a history of long-term employment and not frequent job-hopping.
Lead weekly therapy groups as assigned.
Maintain all requirements for licensure including CEUs, insurance, professional standards, and legal and ethical requirements
Participate in weekly team case consultation and/or staff meetings.
Attending related trainings as assigned.

Skills
To provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families
Experience with couple's therapy
Experience with group therapy
Experience in working with children ages 6 and up, as well as teens a plus
Armenian, Farsi, Russian, Mandarin or Spanish speaking is a plus
Weekly collaboration with Clinical Director is available upon request.
Qualifications:
Licensed Therapist: LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist, Associate status (Master’s degree from accredited social work, marriage and family therapy, professional clinical counselor or psychology program with a minimum 1000 supervised hours & legal/ ethical passing score) or License-eligible.
Experience in providing direct service to *children, individuals, families and/or groups
A background of working with trauma, EMDR or other proven modalities strongly desired.
Ability to work with clients in-person and via telehealth
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
Knowledge of TheraNest helpful.
Strong self-care skills, empathy, compassion and tools to sit with & be a safe holding space for clients with traumatic stories necessary.

Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cooperatively as a team member
Knowledge and sensitivity to cultural differences
Ability to relate harmoniously with staff and clients of diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds
Valid CA Driver License and maintains auto insurability liability limits of 100,000/300,000.
Valid malpractice insurance $1m/3m
Work Schedule:
Position will start with a small case load and will build to clinician’s capacity over time. Initially, time will be spent training and becoming familiar with trauma literature and trainings while building case-load. Work schedule is flexible and can be scheduled around other commitments. One to two evenings and/or one weekend day per week will increase case load capacity.

Positions are available now. Start dates are negotiable.
Benefits and Pay
This position is a w-2 position, and does include paid sick time.
Compensation will be at a mutually agreed upon hourly rate that increases with case load. Clinical and administrative rates to be negotiated. *based on experience.
Two week vacation time will be provided to employees working full-time: 32 or more hours per week for one year.
Medical coverage will be provided for employees working 32 or more hours per week. Partial medical may be available once staff has one year employment and 20 hours consistent clients per week for minimum of 2 months.

Preferred; Trained in or willing to train in at least 1 of the following modalities: Hypnotherapy, EMDR, Biofeedback, Brainspotting, SE, TRM, IFS, or Havening.
